We’re Into Week 2 of 2020!

How’s the new year treating you? Have you already thrown out your resolutions?

I don’t make resolutions at the beginning of the new year. It’s too much pressure. I prefer to make changes when I’m ready for them. That way I’m more likely to do the work that brings about the change I’m hoping for.

Right now, I’m working on being more mindful. I have a bad habit of living in the future, which can cause all sorts of problems. Being mindful brings me into the present, which is a better place to be.

We’re halfway between Christmas and New Year’s Eve!

We’re just days away from 2020! Do you have any plans to celebrate the ringing in of the new year?

I’ll be hanging out with Guinness the Therapy Dog and his sister, Lucy. I expect fireworks in the neighborhood and both need a little reassurance when they hear the loud banging sounds.

I’m excited about the new year. To me, it represents a clean page in my journal and I can’t wait to write out my plans, hopes, and dreams for the next twelve months.
